Monday, December 3rd was a magical evening at the first Members’ Winter Wine Reception. The walkways were lined with lanterns, and the Osage orange and holly trees were glowing wonders as you approached the grounds. The reception was held in Patrick Henry’s home by candlelight. The sage and royal purple linens gave a lavish holiday feel and warmth to the evening.
The attendees were invited to enjoy Red Hill’s wine collection and sample the holiday menu while making new acquaintances, meeting the staff and trustees of the Foundation, and making holiday memories with friends.
We were thrilled to welcome our new Society members to the cause of preserving the life and history of Patrick Henry. The reception is offered to members of the Patrick Henry Society at the Burgess level and above, and allows these members and sponsors to meet with each other and to meet the Foundation’s trustees and staff.
